Winter Weather Reminder & Where to Find Updates

With winter weather expected in the coming days, Kaleida Health has shared a reminder for employees to prepare for severe conditions and potential travel issues. The guidance covers things like planning ahead for childcare, allowing extra travel time, monitoring road conditions, preparing your vehicle and home with essential supplies, and being ready for the possibility of extended shifts if weather conditions worsen.

Kaleida also notes that any internal emergency declarations or weather-related instructions will be communicated through KaleidaScope, KaleidaConnect, and Kaleida Health email. They are encouraging employees to download the KaleidaConnect mobile app so important or urgent updates can be received even if email access is limited.
