Update Regarding Highmark Wellness Debit Card

In a previous update we were happy to announce that Kaleida Health / HighMark BCBS and the Unions had finally made progress towards resolving many problems that have been plaguing our members when it comes to their health and prescription drug insurances.

 

Their commitment included:

·Creating the HighMark Navigator Pilot Program

·Creating a dedicated Kaleida Health Customer Service Team

·HighMark Consideration for Employees

·MyHighMark Mobile Application Update

 

This has been an ongoing problem for over 15 months, we listened to our members concerns and took them seriously. We approached Kaleida Health with these problems and demanded a resolution. Kaleida seemed to feel that this would be the status quo for things however we would not accept that answer. After a multitude of meetings, conferences, and a grievance we have finally moved towards a resolution to hopefully alleviate many of the problems that members have been facing.
