KH Bargaining Update - May 30, 2025
This week, your bargaining committee presented a strong economic proposal covering wages, differentials, PTO, health and dental insurance, retirement, and staffing incentives. Proposals include across-the-board raises, a 25th-year step, shift differential increases, and enhanced preceptor/training pay.
Management continues to propose limits on personal days.
New article proposals include AI safeguards and a 1199SEIU Childcare Fund. A tentative agreement was reached on Article 15 – Hours of Work, laying out how shifts will be awarded now and under the Infor scheduling system, which will replace Kronos in Fall 2026. Key changes clarify seniority-based shift awards and procedures for filling vacancies electronically.
Tentative agreements were also reached on:
- Weekend Work (Article 16): Clarifies when PTO use satisfies weekend requirements.
- Holidays (Article 82): Adds a “no holiday” option, updates mid-shift premiums, and sets clearer rules for holiday makeup and discipline.
- Security Technology (Article 89): No changes.
- New Letter on Infor Implementation: Infor will fully replace Kronos with no overlap and training provided. An implementation committee will address any issues.
- LTC Needs List Letter: Eliminated due to scheduling system changes.
