Kaleida Health Pension System Transition – CWA Continues to Monitor and Advocate

Recently, CWA leadership met with Kaleida Health to review the ongoing transition to Alight, the new record keeper for our pension plans. This change was intended to address the long-standing issues with the previous system, and while progress has been made, we know there are still concerns.

Most members are now live in the Alight system, and many issues — such as outdated footnotes, plan misclassifications, and customer service training — have been addressed. However, a small number of discrepancies remain, and some members are still unable to run pension estimates online.

CWA is continuing to press Kaleida and Alight to resolve these problems quickly and accurately. We have also requested a full listing of each member’s pension plan to better assist anyone with questions or concerns.
