This Is Our Moment. Our Fight. Our Future.

After months of bargaining, Kaleida Health has made it clear they’re unwilling to meet the needs of the frontline workers who keep this system running. The proposals on the table fall far short of what’s needed to ensure safe staffing, fair compensation, and the respect healthcare workers deserve. That’s why we’re calling for a strike authorization vote—to show we are united, organized, and ready to fight for a contract that protects both workers and patients.

On this page, you’ll find everything you need to stay informed and empowered:

What Is a Strike Authorization Vote?

A strike authorization vote does not mean we are going on strike—it means we are giving our bargaining team the power and leverage they need to fight for the contract we deserve. A strong “YES” vote tells Kaleida Health that we are united, serious, and ready to do whatever it takes to win fair wages, safe staffing, and respect on the job.

This is about power. This is about showing Kaleida that we stand together—and we won’t back down.

A powerful turnout sends a message they can’t ignore.

Show up. Vote YES. Make your voice count.
