Internal Charges

As a follow up to our July 7 communication on internal charges, I would like to provide the following update:

The CWA Executive Board has appointed a National Trial Panel (pursuant to the CWA Constitution) to hear the charges related to Charge #1 (Charge filed against Patrick Weisansal by Robert Andruszko on May 27, 2026);

Dane Rivera has been appointed as prosecutor for Charge #3 (Charge filed against Cori Gambini and Robert Andruszko by Patrick Weisansal on June 18, 2026).

Audit Update

The internal audit of union time for 2023-2024 is currently in process. We have hired a new accounting firm that has no prior connection to the local. They are reviewing the timecards of all officers, executive board members and special directors. We are hoping that this process will be complete within 1-2 months.

Grievance Update

We have received some questions regarding the status of existing grievances. We have made sure that all outstanding grievances have been heard, and that nothing has fallen through the cracks. If you have any questions about an outstanding grievance, please call the local at 716-639-1168.
