What happened to the American working class? Why does the wealthiest country in history have so many children living in poverty and inability to afford a decent public sector and infrastructure? Why is it so hard for us to bargain for just about anything while companies make record profits?

CWA's Reversing Runaway Inequality Workshop is a crash course in the growing gap between the super-rich and ordinary workers, how the 1% uses racism to divide working people - and what we must do to reverse runaway inequality.

This is a helpful short video about the workshop.

The workshop is a great interactive learning session broken up into individual topics where you will work in small groups to tackle issues of economic and racial injustice.

The day will be jam-packed with lots of learning and discussion, so please come with an open mind and willingness to learn!
